Stop a service application container

Stops a single compose service application container. Use this operation when you need to stop the container without deleting the service application.

  • IdempotentThe SDK sends Idempotency-Key, so a retried request is only applied once.

The unique identifier of the compose service application to stop.

200Returns a message confirming that the stop was queued.

Error handling

A 400 is returned for an invalid token; a 401 when the request is unauthenticated; a 404 when the service or application is not found; and a 501 when Swarm is unsupported. The uuid path parameter and app_uuid path parameter must identify the service and compose application to stop.
